District Sales Manager - New York and Long Island - TTNews.com

The District Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing the units sales and market share of Supreme?s products at determined profit levels by: effective sales management techniques; developing and guiding the implementation of the market?s specific business plan; achieving account profitability and sales targets; serving as the primary account contact for dealers, fleets, leasing and end users in the market area; ensuring the appropriate level of support is readily available to satisfy customer requirements by providing account leadership. This individual will also be responsible for directing the marketing promotions and strategies for the market area.

Duties & Responsibilities

? Manage the overall relationship with all dealers, fleets, leasing firms and end users in the New York City, Long Island, and surrounding areas by: o Develop account strategies in accordance with overall strategy, o Develop and implement account goals with customers, o Providing weekly & monthly updates to the Regional Sales Manager, o Conducting regular visits to customers, o Coordinating major bids for fleets & leasing with Regional staff, o Attending annual meetings, special meetings, events, and/or product inspections as required, o Working with the Pant and/or Master Scheduler to supply capacities for major fleet/leasing builds to ensure that customer expectations are being met.

? Consistently seek to improve the relationships with District locations for the following leasing companies: Penske Truck Leasing, Ryder Systems Inc., Idealease, Paccar Leasing, Enterprise as well as locally owned & operated leasing/rental firms as well as representatives from finance lease entities.

? Forecast Sales for assigned accounts to the Regional Sales Manager annually and then updated as required.

? Attend and support designated Trade Shows and Customer Open Houses and events as needed including and other shows as required.

? Work on special account responsibilities added by the Regional Sales Manager as needed.

? Contribute to the Team atmosphere of the Regional and Company as a whole by considering the individuals on the team and looking for ways to compliment one another?s talents and skills. New ideas and ways of improving the process are expected from each team member.
